Tshedzom Tingkhye is a Tibetan-American artist working in dance performance, choreography, film, and installation. Originally from Seattle, she received her BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee and since has been working between the two coasts. She is pulled towards research, both in self-directed and company projects. Tshedzom has worked with artists and groups including Marina Abramović, Alice Gosti, Fox Whitney, Boston Early Music Festival, Pacific MusicWorks, The Merce Cunningham Trust, Wade Madsen, and volta collective. Her creations have been presented with the Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art, Velocity Dance Center, Northwest Film Forum, Kaleidoscope Dance Company, Henry Purcell Society of Boston, Dance on Camera, and Tibet Film Festival. Her upcoming calendar includes her original solo, Returning, which will premiere at NW New Works at On the Boards this June.
